Dear Voter,
I am asking for your number 1 vote so that I can represent you in Seanad Éireann on the Industrial and Commercial Panel.
For over 15 years, I have campaigned for a better society and I have delivered results. As the national Head of Mobilisation for Together for Yes in 2018, I helped deliver overwhelming support for reproductive rights. As President of the Union of Students in Ireland, I led the student campaign for marriage equality which registered 30,000 voters in advance of the referendum in 2015. I have a track record on campaigning for housing rights, a more accessible education system and for climate action.
Today, I’m a Cork City Councillor, the Executive Director of the Irish Council for International Students and a board member of Threshold.
I live in Cork City and I am a graduate of University College Cork. I’m from the Gaeltacht originally and grew up in Baile Bhúirne.
I will work with my head and my heart to represent you in Seanad Éireann.
Míle Buíochas,
A Chairde,
Táim ag iarraidh do vóta uimhir 1 ionas gur féidir liom ionadaíocht a dhéanamh duit i Seanad Éireann ar an bPainéal Tionscail agus Tráchtála.
Le breis agus cúig bliana déig anuas, táim tar éis a bheith ag feachtasaíocht ar mhaithe le sochaí níos cothroime agus d’éirigh liom in ana chuid slite.
Agus mé mar Cheannaire Náisiúnta Soghluaisteachta do T4Y in 2018, d’oibríos chun tacaíocht mhór a sheachadadh chun dlíthe ginmhillte na hÉireann a léirscaoileadh.
Roimhe sin, nuair a bhíos mar Uachtarán ar Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn, threoraigh mé feachtas na mac léinn um chomhionannas pósta, feachtas a chláraigh 30,000 vótálaí roimh an reifreann in 2015.
Tá sé léirithe agam, aríst agus aríst, go gcreidim i ngníomh aeráide, córas oideachais i bhfad níos insroichte agus cearta tithíochta .
Inniu, is Comhairleoir Cathrach i gCorcaigh mé, Stiúrthóir Feidhmiúcháin Chomhairle na hÉireann do Mhic Léinn Idirnáisiúnta agus comhalta boird de Threshold.
Táim i mo chónaí i gCorcaí, Is céimí mé i gColáiste na hOllscoile, Corcaigh. Is as Gaeltacht Mhúscraí mé ó dhúchas.
Oibreoidh mé le mo cheann agus le mo chroí le hionadaíocht a dhéanamh ar do shon agus le poblacht bunaithe ar chomhionnanas a neartú.
Míle Buíochas,
