Hello, I’m laura harmon

I’m Laura Harmon and I am asking for your #1 vote for the Seanad Industrial and Commercial Panel.

I’ve been a campaigner on housing, education, and equality for over 15 years - since my student politics days in UCC and USI. Currently, I serve on the board of Threshold, I work as a CEO in higher education, and I’m a Cork City Councillor.

Some of my priorities include:

• Supporting Councillors and enhancing local government

• Improving conditions for Councillors, including pension entitlements

• Being a strong voice for housing

• Investment in education and access to education

• Climate action and nature restoration

• Public transport

• Advocating for the Irish language

• Planning for a border poll on a united Ireland

• Decriminalisation and a health-care approach to addiction, including funding for services
